Lucifer Checks In Late (Mainly Mark's Idea)
Lucifer wants to run the Library (Heaven) but Gabriel is in charge. Lucifer takes out the book of Nigelroi from the religion section, takes it home and begins to read as normal. At a staff meeting they are discussing promotions but Gabriel gets the job. Lucifer is raging and in great anger he storms down the stairs, Gabriel, bragging his new position, tells Lucifer his book is late and he shall be fined. Lucifer goes home and destroys the book, handing it back to Gabriel smugly/sarcastically.
In a separate scene, 'God' is outraged by his behaviour and bans Lucifer from the Library. Lucifer reacts by telling him to fuck off and tells him he's going to create a library in the basement (representing hell). Lucifer goes to punch God and God rips off Lucifer's wings.
This scene could potentially come at the beginning of the play to get the audience to be objective about Lucifer's situation. It would also then be repeated in the convienient place.
